History

Vulcan had created Melody to look over one of his primordial symbols; fire. As some people didn't use them for the right reasons, that is. Not only is the nymph in charge of protecting fire, but other symbols of the Fire-God as well, as an extra task from her creator. She was created in the year of the Great Chicago Fire. When brought to the world, she was fully grown, and maintained the physical appearance of a 16 year old teen for over a century, guarding fire. Gaining immortality by Vulcan, she protected the flames for years. As our era approached, the Roman god sent Melody to Camp Jupiter to rest, as she had served him for ages and deserved a reward for all her hard work. She now rests in the borders of New Rome, at the orders of her master.

Personality

Melody is quite chill. Around her friends, she can be very "goofy". But in important matters, she can be quite serious. Never off her guard, she is clear sighted enough to distinguish good from bad. She is very protective over the people who have earned her trust, and would never forgive herself if anything happened to them. But at the end of the day, Melody is a sweet, fly and caring girl.

Melody has dark brown hair and black eyes. Generally considered quite beautiful, she can be quite full of herself.

Passive

1. They are resistant to heat and fire.
2. They can heal the minor burns of others, but the more severe the burn, the more energy it drains.
3. They are immortal beings made by the gods, therefore eternally young.

Supplementary

1. They have the ability to release heat from their hands in order to cauterize an open wound.
2. They have the ability to create and control fire, the larger the flame, or the more condensed, the more energy it drains
3. They have the ability to shed their flesh and turn into pure fire for a short time and while in this state, the user is granted flight, immune to all attacks and anything they touch is intensely burned. They will however feel dizzy after the effects are over.
