Hi Rae, I've been noticing people with the label "A Wikia Contributor" making edits and I do not think it is really safe to let users edit without first logging in or creating an account. Is there any way we can change the setting wherein users without accounts cannot make an edit?
Or do you think that's being too strict? I just feel like we're very troll-prone when anon users are allowed to edit AND some users even rp without logging in first. How can we be so sure that it's them?
Just a thought. What do you think?
Apparently, I just found out that somebody "tried" to sound like me and talked to my friends when I was gone. It's an anon user and, surprisingly, I think he pretty much copied my style of communication very well ><
Hey, Rae! :D
I would like a job description please :3
I saw the to-do list on the wiki and its hella vague. I wanna help but I don't know where to start or what I can touch. I can help with updating character records or the counts for cabins and cohorts but I remember you and Kit saying you were gonna delete pages so I don't know which ones are for keeps. I can actually help with deleting pages while you guys aren't online, if you like. That was just some of the major stuff that I saw needing done.
On a minor note: The Roman Bestiary is empty and I can start gathering info for that if you want. It's not as big a deal as the other stuff I mentioned though.
I spoke to Kit about this and she told me to go and talk to you about it too :3
(Please don't reply to this if you aren't Rae or Kit. This is a matter for them only.)
I'm not sure if you'll know how to create interactive locations, so I'll just leave the other locations to you. They're mostly simple, like the regular locations we have. I'll compile a list in a minute.
We've had already proposed locations from a previous user recomendation - "Oakland Hills, Caldecott Tunnel, Tiber River, Praetor's House, and possibly the Aqueduct since the Romans were famous for their aqueduct system. Caldecott Tunnel can be where we greet new campers. Oakland Hills and Tiber River can be where we have battles to defend the camps borders."
It's no big :) The Roman Bestiary will take a great deal longer for the research alone so if you have any other tasks like making, editing or deleting pages, I'm your girl :3 I can do that in the meantime.
Hey Rabbit so we are aware that there are a bunch of unused characters due to inactive users aaaaand my suggestion for them is that we add a category named, "Inactive Characters" or perhaps a template (maybe both?) just so new users will know that they are characters that should not be used/roleplayed/etc.
Rabbit... aren't you coming back? :( I miss this place... I miss my friends... I miss you guys... please come back? I won't force you if you really can't but I hope you see this message and give me a reply. It doesn't matter if it's a yes or a no as long as I know that you're able to see and read this :(
P.S. Please 'do not reply to this thread if you are NOT 'Rabbit. If you would like to have a word with me then please send me a message on my wall. Thank you.
